Sunset Dentistry Launch

January 2019

Sunset Dentistry (formerly Dr K Dental) was founded in 2018 by Dr K.P. Mokuele, opening its first doors at Sunset Square Medical Centre.

Expanding to Soweto

March 2020

Our Soweto branch is home to 3 Dental Therapists and has 3 Dentists visiting the S branch on a weekly basis to provide additional support. It was launched in 2020 with only 2 dental rooms and has grown to 4 dental rooms, with a contingent of 9 permanent staff members.

Racing to Kyalami

August 2021

Kyalami is our second - largest practice with a total of 6 dental rooms. It is home to 2 Dentists, 2 Dental Therapists. In total, our Kyalami practice has a host of 9 permanent staff members. The branch was launched in August 2021, and it is situated in the Kyalami on Main Shopping Centre.

Pretoria here we come!

April 2021

Our Akasia branch is currently the only practice Sunset Dentistry has operating in Pretoria, it is home to 1 Dentist, 1 Dental Therapist, and 1 Oral Hygienist. The branch was launched on the 1st of April 2022. It is a family-friendly practice, with a highly talented team servicing it.

June 2022

Sunset Dentistry Vaal is located in Vanderbijlpark, it is one of two branches servicing the Vaal area. It was launched on the 23rd of June 2022. The practice is home to 2 Dentists and 2 Dental Assistants.

Smiles in Sandton

August 2022

Sunset Dentistry Sandton, formerly known as Dr. Lamola Dental Care, joined the franchise in August 2022. This practice has 2 fully equipped dental rooms. The branch is headed by Dr. K. Lamola, supported by a contingent of very friendly staff.

Booming in Ballito

August 2023

Sunset Dentistry Ballito, formally known as Ilembe medical and dental, officially opened its doors on the 1st August 2023. This branch is run by Dr Jobela who holds a BDS (MEDUNSA) and his team. Dr Jobela has over 15 years of experience in dentistry. This branch is our latest addition to the group of practices.
