Welcome to Sunset Dentistry
My name is Dr Kometsi Mokuele, though most people simply call me Dr K, and I am the proud founder and Director of Sunset Dentistry.
What started as a single practice has grown into a dynamic, multi-branch family of dental professionals united by one purpose: to make quality oral healthcare accessible, dignified and truly patient-centred. Every new branch, every new team member and every patient we welcome deepens our commitment to serving communities with integrity and compassion.
At Sunset Dentistry, our work has never been just about smiles, it’s about the people behind them. It’s about creating a warm, reassuring space where patients of all ages feel supported, respected and understood. It’s about contributing positively to the communities we serve and empowering individuals to take control of their oral health with confidence.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a respectable, global dental brand, offering all elements of dental health care. We aim to see Sunset Dentistry in every major city and town in South Africa. At Sunset Dentistry, we also believe in empowering the youth and people from previously disadvantaged communities, passing on skills and training needed in this industry. In doing so, we are empowering families to break the cycle of poverty and equipping them with skills not just essential for survival, but prosperity a s well.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer quality dental health care at very affordable prices. We believe in the power a great smile can bring to an individual, hence the notion, "You are never fully dressed without a smile". Sunset Dentistry aims to provide the most comfortable environment to ensure all our patients, both young and old, receive the best possible treatment. Sunset Dentistry strives to be affordable for all income levels and trades at medical aid rates, based on most medical aids.
